Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced VMC Programmer responsible for CNC/VMC programming, machine operation support, and manufacturing of precision components as per drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare VMC CNC programs using G-code/M-code and suitable programming methods.
Develop and modify programs based on component drawings and machining requirements.
Set and operate VMC machines for milling and precision machining.
Select appropriate cutting tools, inserts, speeds, feeds, and machining parameters.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T;, and machining specifications.
Perform tool offset setting, work offset setting, and program corrections.
Conduct first-piece inspection and ensure dimensional accuracy.
Use measuring instruments such as Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Bore Gauge, etc.
Troubleshoot machining issues, tool wear, dimensional variation, and program errors.
Optimize machining cycles to improve productivity and reduce tool consumption.
Coordinate with Tool Room,



Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams.
Maintain CNC/VMC programs, tool records, and production-related documentation.
Follow 5S, safety procedures, quality standards, and production targets.

Required Skills
Solid knowledge of VMC/CNC milling programming and operations.
Knowledge of Fanuc / Siemens / Mitsubishi controls will be preferred.
Knowledge of 2D/3D machining and CAD/CAM software such as Mastercam, PowerMill, NX, or equivalent.
Valuable understanding of cutting tools and machining processes.
Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T.;
Valuable problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Experience in precision machining / automotive / engineering manufacturing will be preferred.

Preferred Experience
Experience with 3-axis / 4-axis VMC machines.
Knowledge of fixture setting and workholding.
Experience in tool and die / automotive component machining is an advantage.
Ability to independently handle programming, setting, and process corrections.
