About the Role

n

The TGT Social Studies position involves teaching various Social Studies subjects to students, ensuring they receive a comprehensive understanding of the curriculum.

n

Responsibilities

n

n
Teach Social Studies subjects including History, Geography, Civics, Political Science, and Economics to students.
n
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lesson plans aligned with the CBSE curriculum and learning outcomes.
n
Use innovative teaching methodologies, including maps, charts, presentations, case studies, projects, smart boards, and activity-based learning.
n
Conduct assessments, examinations, assignments, and projects to evaluate student performance.
n
Maintain accurate academic records, attendance, and student progress reports.
n
Provide constructive feedback and support students' academic growth.
n
Foster critical thinking, analytical skills, and civic awareness among students.
n
Ensure effective classroom management and maintain a positive learning workplace.
n




Participate in PTMs, staff meetings, school events, training programs, and co-curricular activities.
n
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery and student learning outcomes.
n

Qualifications

n

n
Graduate/Postgraduate in History, Geography, Political Science, Economics, or a related Social Science discipline.
n
B.Ed. degree is mandatory.
n
Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience in a reputed CBSE/ICSE school preferred.
n
Robust subject knowledge and communication skills.
n
Proficiency in using digital teaching tools and smart classroom technology.
