Key Responsibilities

Deliver lectures, tutorials, laboratory sessions, and practical classes in Structural Engineering and related Civil Engineering subjects.
n
Prepare lesson plans, study materials, assessments, and evaluate student performance.
n
Mentor students in academics, projects, internships, and career development.
n
Conduct quality research and publish in reputed journals and conferences.
n
Guide student projects and encourage innovation and problem-solving.
n
Participate in curriculum development and implement Outcome-Based Education (OBE) practices.
n
Supervise Structural Engineering laboratories and ensure effective utilization of laboratory resources.
n
Support departmental activities, accreditation processes (NBA/NAAC), examinations, admissions, and academic administration.
n




Build industry collaborations through internships, consultancy, guest lectures, and industrial visits.
n
Perform any other academic or administrative responsibilities assigned by the Head of Department.
n

Qualification

n

n
B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering and M.E./M.Tech in Structural Engineering or equivalent specialization.
n
Ph.D. in Civil Engineering (Structural Engineering) is a must.
n

n

Experience

n

n
Teaching, research, or relevant industry experience in Structural Engineering is preferred.
n
Experience with accreditation processes, research projects, or consultancy assignments will be an added advantage.
