Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Junior Accountant role based in Okhla Industrial Area Phase 2, Delhi.

The Junior

Accountant will support daily accounting operations, including recording transactions, maintaining ledgers, and assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable. The role includes preparing basic financial reports, reconciling bank statements, and helping ensure accurate documentation of invoices, expenses, and payments.

Accountant will assist senior finance staff during month-end and year-end closing, help with data entry in accounting software, and support compliance with internal policies and statutory requirements.



The position also involves coordinating with other departments to gather financial information and responding to routine queries from vendors and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in basic accounting principles, including journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliations.
- Proficiency with accounting software (such as Tally, QuickBooks, or similar tools) and Microsoft Excel.
- Attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and ability to maintain organized financial records.
- Valuable analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to interpret and validate financial data.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and external partners.
- Ability to work on-site in Okhla, manage time effectively, and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Relevant educational background such as a bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- Prior internship or entry-level experience in accounting or finance in a retail or commercial setting is an advantage.
