Key Responsibilities

Teaching and Pedagogy

Teach core and elective courses across programs (e.g., B.Com, M.Com, MBA, or specialized commerce streams like Fintech, Banking & Insurance, Taxation, and Accounting) at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
n
Design and update course syllabi, lesson plans, and instructional materials incorporating up-to-date pedagogical tools and experiential learning.
n
Mentor and advise students on academic performance, career paths, professional certifications (e.g., CA, ACCA, CPA, CFA), and holistic development.
n
Supervise student research projects, dissertations, and internships.
n

Research and Publication

n

n
Engage in active, high-quality research and publish scholarly articles in peer-reviewed journals (indexed in Scopus, Web of Science, ABDC, or UGC-CARE).
n
Secure external research grants, industry sponsorships, or consultancy projects where applicable.
n
Present research findings at national and international academic conferences, seminars, and symposiums.

Student Assessment and Evaluation

Develop, administer, and evaluate quizzes, assignments, midterm examinations, and end-semester examinations.
n
Provide constructive, timely feedback to students to enhance their academic growth.
n
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, assessments, and progress in compliance with university standards.
n

Departmental and Institutional Service

n

n
Actively participate in departmental meetings, faculty committees (e.g., Board of Studies, Examination, Admission, Placement), and institutional events.
n
Contribute to curriculum development, accreditation processes (e.g., NAAC, NBA, AACSB), and institutional ranking preparations (e.g., NIRF).
n
Foster robust linkages with industry partners, alumni networks, and skilled bodies to facilitate guest lectures, industrial visits, and student placements.
