Job Summary:

The Asset Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and managing audits of the companys equipment assets.

n

This role ensures that all equipment is accounted for, maintained, and utilized efficiently, while also ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

n

Key Responsibilities:

n

-Equipment Management

n

n
Ensure Accurate tracking and documentation of all equipment assets, including acquisition, maintenance and disposal.
n
Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to verify that equipment is in positive working condition and being used effectively.
n
Develop and maintain a comprehensive equipment inventory database.
n

n

-Process Improvement

n

n
Analyse current equipment management processes and identify prospects for improvement.
n
Implement best practices for equipment management, including regular maintenance schedules and proper utilization.
n
Work with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvements.
n

n

-Reporting and Documentation

n

n
Prepare detailed audit reports, including findings,



conclusions and recommendations for management.
n
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all audit, including equipment inventories, audit schedules and compliance documentation.
n
Provide regular updates to senior management on the status of the equipment audits and any significant findings.
n

-Audit Planning and Execution

n

n
Develop and implement audit plans for the company's assets.
n
Conduct regular audits of equipment inventory, usage and maintenance records.
n
identify discrepancies, inefficiencies and areas of non-compliance and recommend corrective actions.
n

-Stakeholder Collaboration

n

n
Collaborate with operations, procurement, finance and maintenance teams to ensure that equipment is managed effectively across the organisation.
n
Serves as the point of contract for external auditors or regulatory bodies during equipment audits.
n
Build solid relationships with internal stakeholders to support the implementation of audits recommendations.
n
