Job Description

We are looking for a Cockpit Engineer with 3 5 years of experience in medical device engineering, particularly in cockpit/system design, CAD, and risk management. The candidate will be responsible for supporting the design, development, verification, and documentation of medical device cockpit systems in compliance with applicable quality and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities
Design and develop medical device cockpit systems/components using CAD tools.
Create and maintain 3D models, engineering drawings, assemblies, and design documentation.
Work closely with mechanical, electrical, software, systems, and quality engineering teams.
Perform design analysis, reviews, and engineering assessments.
Support Design Verification and Validation (DV&V;) activities.
Identify potential product hazards and support risk management activities in accordance with ISO 14971.
Participate in FMEA, risk analysis, and mitigation activities.
Ensure designs meet applicable medical device standards, specifications, and quality requirements.
Support design changes, troubleshooting,



and resolution of engineering issues.
Maintain technical documentation throughout the product development lifecycle.
Collaborate with cross-functional and global teams to deliver projects on schedule.

Mandatory Skills
Cockpit Engineering / Medical Device Engineering
CAD hands-on experience with 3D modeling and engineering drawings
ISO 14971 Medical Device Risk Management
Understanding of medical device product development lifecycle
Knowledge of Design Verification & Validation
Good understanding of engineering documentation and change management

Positive to Have
Experience working in the medical devices / healthcare industry
Knowledge of FMEA and risk analysis
Experience with Design Controls
Familiarity with ISO 13485
Experience with PLM tools and engineering change processes
Exposure to regulatory requirements for medical devices
