Investment & Wealth Analyst – HNI Portfolio
Location: India
Reporting to: CFO
Employment Type: Full-time
Role Purpose
We are seeking an experienced Investment & Wealth Analyst with a background in a very reputed wealth management firm, private bank, or investment advisory organisation to support the personal portfolio of a High Net Worth Individual (HNI). The role will focus on global-market research, portfolio monitoring, investment analysis, risk management, and performance reporting. The candidate should have strong knowledge of global equities, and futures and options strategies, including hedging and downside-risk analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor the portfolio across global equities, Buying & Selling of Options (Call & Put) & Futures, ETFs, mutual funds, and other approved investment products.
- Track global markets, macroeconomic data, earnings, sector developments, regulations, and geopolitical events; provide weekly updates on portfolio impact.
- Support portfolio strategy, including asset allocation, diversification, sector allocation, risk limits, and buy/hold/sell recommendations.
- Analyse investment opportunities and risks across asset classes, with particular focus on futures and options strategies, hedging, liquidity, payoA scenarios, and downside risk.
- Prepare weekly/monthly portfolio MIS covering performance versus benchmark, allocation, concentration, risk exposure, cash position, corporate actions, maturities, and action items.
- Coordinate with wealth managers, brokers, bankers, tax advisors, and other external advisors for documentation, execution follow-up, and portfolio-related matters.
- Maintain accurate records of statements, trade confirmations, reconciliations, tax documents, research notes, and investment decisions.
- Ensure strict confidentiality, data security, timely reporting, and compliance with applicable policies and regulations.
Candidate Profile
Education and qualifications
- MBA-Finance, CFA, CFP, CA, CPA, FRM, or similar professional qualification will be preferred.
Experience:
- 5–10 years in wealth management, private banking, family oAice, portfolio management, investment advisory, or equity research, preferably with a reputed global financial institution or wealth-management firm.
- Exposure to global financial markets, portfolio reporting, investment notes, market updates, and client presentations.
Skills and competencies
- Strong knowledge of global investment products, including equities, ETFs, mutual funds, futures, and options (Buying & selling of calls and Puts).
- Excellent analytical, financial modelling, Excel, and communication skills.
- Robust market awareness, integrity, confidentiality, and ability to work independently across US time zones.
Compensation
Competitive India-based CTC, commensurate with experience and qualifications, along with a performance-linked incentive.
