International Business Development Executive – Pharma API

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and develop new international customers for Pharmaceutical APIs.
- Generate leads through online platforms, databases, market research, email campaigns, and other business channels.
- Search and identify potential distributors, importers, pharmaceutical companies, and business partners in international markets.
- Handle international client enquiries and understand their product requirements.
- Prepare and share quotations, product details, COA, specifications, technical documents, and other required information.
- Regularly follow up with prospective and existing customers through email, WhatsApp, calls, and online meetings.
- Negotiate product pricing, quantity, payment terms, and other commercial requirements.
- Develop and maintain strong long-term relationships with international clients.
- Coordinate with internal teams such as Purchase, QA, Regulatory, Production, and Logistics for smooth order execution.




- Maintain customer databases, enquiry records, quotations, follow-ups, and sales reports.
- Monitor competitor pricing, market trends, customer requirements, and new business opportunities.
- Support the complete business cycle from lead generation → enquiry → quotation → negotiation → order confirmation → execution.
- Explore new international markets and contribute towards achieving business development targets.

Required Skills

- Good knowledge of Pharmaceutical APIs / Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients.
- Experience in International Business Development / Export Sales / Pharma Sales will be preferred.
- Strong English communication skills – written and verbal.

Education B.Pharm / M.Pharm / B.Sc / MBA (Marketing or International Business) preferred.
