Job Title: Purchase Executive

Department: Supply Chain Management (SCM)

Reports to: Purchase Manager / Head of SCM

Role Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Purchase Executive to manage end-to-end procurement for our manufacturing unit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing raw materials, developing a reliable vendor base, and ensuring seamless financial documentation (TT/LC) to support uninterrupted production.

Key Responsibilities:
Procurement & Operations: Execute day-to-day purchasing activities including raising Purchase Orders (POs), follow-ups, and coordinating with stores/inventory to maintain optimal stock levels as per production schedules.
Vendor Development: Identify, evaluate, and onboard current suppliers. Negotiate contracts, rates, and payment terms to achieve cost savings while maintaining quality standards. Conduct periodic vendor performance reviews.
Documentation (Trade Finance): Independently prepare and process documentation for Telegraphic Transfers (TT) and Letters of Credit (LC) . Ensure compliance with INCOTERMS, bank requirements,



and import/export regulations for both domestic and international purchases.
SCM Coordination: Collaborate with logistics, warehouse, and production teams to track shipments, manage delivery schedules, and resolve discrepancies in quality or quantity.
Market Intelligence: Monitor raw material price trends and market conditions to forecast potential supply chain risks.

Key Qualifications:
Education: Basic Bachelor’s degree (B.Com/BBA etc) required
Experience: Min 2 years of experience in procurement within a manufacturing workplace.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel. Basic understanding of customs clearance, BG/LC processes, and forex regulations is a must.
Soft Skills: Strong negotiation, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities with a sense of urgency to meet production deadlines.
