Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Tailor to join our garment manufacturing unit. The candidate will be responsible for stitching garments according to specifications, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring production targets are met.

Key Responsibilities
Stitch garments according to design specifications, measurements, and production requirements.
Operate industrial sewing machines efficiently and safely.
Read and understand patterns, markers, and garment specifications.
Perform stitching operations such as joining, hemming, attaching collars, sleeves, pockets, and zippers.
Ensure stitching quality and finishing meet company standards.
Maintain production speed while ensuring accuracy.
Identify and correct minor stitching defects.
Maintain cleanliness and proper handling of machines and tools.
Follow production schedules and meet daily targets.
Coordinate with supervisors, cutters, and quality inspectors.

Valuable knowledge of garment stitching techniques
Ability to operate industrial sewing machines
Understanding of garment construction

Basic knowledge of fabrics and stitching methods

Qualifications
Minimum: Basic tailoring training or experience
Preferred: 1–3 years experience in a garment manufacturing unit
Ability to understand basic production instructions
