Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Hospital Accountant to manage financial operations, ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, and support accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting within a hospital or healthcare setting and be familiar with medical billing and insurance processes.
Key Responsibilities:Maintain and manage the hospital’s financial records and general ledger
Oversee accounts payable and receivable, including vendor payments and collections
Handle patient billing reconciliation and coordinate with the billing department
Providing quoatation for surgeries, medical managemnt, admissions, explaining procedure admission costs, convincing patients for admissions.
Monitor insurance claims, reimbursements, and revenue cycles
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Ensure compliance with healthcare financial regulations and internal policies
Assist in budgeting, forecasting,



and cost control initiatives
Conduct internal audits and support external audits
Track and report on hospital expenses, departmental budgets, and profitability
Work closely with management to improve financial processes and efficiency
Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
2–5+ years of accounting experience (healthcare/hospital experience preferred)
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
Familiarity with hospital billing systems and insurance processes
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, QuickBooks) and MS Excel
High attention to detail and solid analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications: B COM, M Com, MBA, finance & accounting, CA / CMA / CPA
Experience with hospital management software
Knowledge of healthcare compliance and taxation
