Role & responsibilities
Build and manage a network of regional PTL transporters, FTL operators and fleet owners.
Develop PTL connectivity across key cities, industrial clusters and transportation lanes.
Identify, onboard and negotiate rates with reliable transport partners.
Source competitive rates and capacity for FTL requirements.
Maintain transporter, lane, rate and capacity databases.
Coordinate with customers, warehouses and transporters for smooth transportation execution.
Support Sales with transportation rates and solutions for current business.
Identify transportation opportunities within existing Godamwale customers.
Monitor transporter performance, service quality and SLA adherence.
Track market rates, costs and margins and support cost optimization.
Resolve operational issues related to vehicle placement, pickup, delivery and POD.
Preferred candidate profile
25 years of experience in transportation, logistics, 3PL or related fields.
Solid knowledge of PTL transportation, including networks, lanes, rates and operating models.
Existing relationships with regional PTL transporters and fleet operators preferred.
