Key Responsibilities
Hardware Diagnostics & Repair: Identify faults and replace broken or defective laptop components including RAM, hard drives, batteries, and screens.
Software & OS Troubleshooting: Install and configure operating systems (Windows, macOS), drivers, and essential software.
System Maintenance: Perform routine cleanings, virus and malware removal, and install necessary security updates.
Data Management & Backup: Assist users with data recovery and safely transferring files during hardware failures.
Customer Support & Record Keeping: Explain repair steps clearly to clients, track inventory, and maintain logs of repaired equipment. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]

Essential Requirements
Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of laptop architectures, electronic circuits, and IT components.
Diagnostics Skills: Robust ability to use hardware diagnostic tools and multimeters to pinpoint motherboard or power issues.
Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving, attention to detail, and customer service skills.
Education & Certifications: A degree in Information Technology or Computer Science, or industry certifications such as CompTIA A+.
