Interior Designer – Modern Luxury Home | Chandigarh

nnWe are looking for an experienced and highly creative Interior Designer to design and execute a modern luxury home in Chandigarh.

nnThe ideal candidate should be comfortable working closely with an architect, understanding architectural drawings in detail, and translating them into refined, functional, and high-end interior spaces. Strong coordination between design intent, drawings, and on-site execution is essential.

nnWe are seeking someone with a strong understanding of contemporary, modern, and sophisticated residential interiors, with an exceptional eye for detail, materials, finishes, lighting, furniture, and overall aesthetics.

nnKey Responsibilities

nn Collaborate closely with the architect to understand drawings, layouts, and design intent.

nDevelop the complete interior design concept for a modern luxury residence.

n Design living spaces, bedrooms, kitchen, bathrooms, entertainment room, bar, gym, and other areas.

nPrepare layouts, mood boards, 3D visualizations, material selections, and detailed drawings.

n Interpret architectural drawings and convert them into detailed interior execution plans.

nSelect premium materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, fixtures, and accessories.

n Coordinate with architects, contractors, carpenters, electricians, vendors, and other consultants.





nConduct regular site visits and oversee execution to ensure the design is delivered to the highest standard.

n Manage design detailing, site coordination, and execution-related issues.

nEnsure consistency between approved drawings, materials, workmanship, and final execution.

nnCandidate Requirements

nn 5+ years of experience in interior design.

nMust have proven experience designing up-to-date luxury homes.

n Strong ability to read, understand, and work with architectural drawings.

nOnly candidates with a strong portfolio of luxury residential projects will be considered.

n Experience with high-end materials, custom furniture, premium lighting, and luxury finishes.

nStrong knowledge of modern and contemporary design.

n Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, Revit, or similar software.

nExcellent understanding of construction details and on-site execution.

n Strong communication, coordination, and project-management skills.

nExceptional attention to detail and a high standard for quality.

nnLocation: Chandigarh

nEmployment Type: Project-based / Freelance

nExperience: 5+ years

nCompensation: 60k - 80k, based on experience and portfolio
