Role Description The Insurance Financial Advisor is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Chennai Area. This role involves meeting with clients to understand their financial goals, risk tolerance, and insurance needs, and recommending suitable health, personal accident, and related insurance solutions. The advisor will prepare and present financial plans, explain product features, and assist clients with policy selection, applications, renewals, and claims-related guidance.

Day-to-day responsibilities include prospecting and onboarding new clients, maintaining long-term relationships,



monitoring client portfolios, and providing periodic reviews and updates. The role also requires staying informed about regulatory changes, market trends, and new Galaxy Health Insurance products, while collaborating with internal teams to ensure a smooth client experience.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust skills in Financial Planning and Retirement Planning to design comprehensive, goal-based advisory solutions.
- Candidates should possess solid knowledge of Finance and Insurance to explain products clearly and ensure compliant, informed recommendations.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Investments to integrate insurance plans within broader wealth-building strategies.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills to build trust and long-term client relationships.
- Ability to work with targets, manage multiple client accounts, and use digital tools or CRM systems effectively.
- Relevant academic background in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field; professional certifications in financial planning or insurance advisory are an advantage.
- Knowledge of local market dynamics in the Greater Chennai Area and fluency in English; proficiency in regional languages is beneficial.
