- To prepare duty roster for the staff.
- To check the booking register a day before surgery, for the special requirement and to co-ordinate with the surgeon & anesthetist.
- To ensure that aseptic technique is maintained strictly in OT.
- Delegation of duties in Operation Theatre based on the day-to-day surgery list.
- To check whether the consumables instruments and equipments are available for the surgery.





- To ensure that all the equipments are functioning properly.
- To check if all surgeries on completion is documented properly.
- To maintain the emergency stock in Operation Theatre.

- To co-ordinate with Operation Theatre technician, biomedical and housekeeping staff.
- To ensure there is no time wastage in between the cases.
- To be aware of patients rights.
- To perform patient and family education.

- To perform IPSG whenever required as per the policy.
- To ensure that the postoperative patients are handled carefully in the recovery room and transferred properly according to the protocol.
