Key Responsibilities

- Import Customs Clearance &
- Documentation / Deliveries / Eway Bills

- Exports Planning, Invoicing &

- Documentation &
- Customs Clearance

- Follow up / Liasioning with Customs /Check List approval/ Shipping Lines / CHA / DGFT / Banks / SIMS Registration / RoDTEP.

- Reports / MIS Preparation DSR / Sales Flash Report / MIT / Cash flow / Budget / Duty requesting / TT Payments / Letter of Credits

- Follow up with the Suppliers / Buyers / Liaison with other internal departments

- Administration and reporting as necessary.

Core Competencies

- To ensure Import &
- Exports schedules against the purchase / Sales plan for timely procurement / Dispatch of all items / Parts / Consumables.

- Monthly Planning for Import &

- Export Shipments.

- Arranging Offers, RFQ study of Import &

- Exports provisions & preparation of Costing Details.

- Coordination / follow up with foreign suppliers / Buyer for execution shipments on the finalized terms & conditions

- Custom Clearances of Import under RoDTEP &

- CEPA / AI FTA scheme / SVB, ensure timely clearances





- Custom Clearances of Exports Shipments under DBK / RoDTEP / LUT ensure timely clearances

- Liasioning with Customs / Excise Authorities for Factory Stuffing and Custom Clearances, DGFT, Banks, Shipping Lines, Custom House agents (CHAs) for timely clearance of Import / Exports Shipments

- Liasioning with overseas Suppliers &

- Buyer, Shipping Lines/Air Lines, Freight Forwarders, Transporters, ICD / CFS Authorities &
- Surveyors for the entire Logistics process

- Generation of E-Way Bill to facilitate truck movements post customs clearance

Candidate Profile

- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Import &
- Exports Department of reputed company

- Qualifications – Graduate &

- PG Diploma / MBA in International Trade.

- Well conversant with Govt., Policies, Procedures &

- Regulations

- Excellent face-to-face and telephone conversation skills

- Exposure of working on SAP /ORACLE ERP with good MS Office skills, particularly Excel and Word, Solid responsibility, self-motivated and can work under high pressure.
