About LPG Guru

LPG Guru is a SaaS platform for LPG distributors in India. It replaces the daily juggling of oil-company portals, registers, and spreadsheets with one system: automatic sync of consumer and sales data from HPCL portals, Tally-style accounting, IVRS call management for refill bookings and complaints, ticketing, SMS campaigns, and compliance reports.

Our marketing team brings distributors to the door. This role is the bridge that turns an interested distributor into a live, confident, paying customer and keeps them one.

The role

You will own the customer journey from the moment marketing hands over a qualified distributor lead. You take them through sign-up, connect their oil-company portal accounts, verify their synced data, configure the modules they need, train their staff, and stay their single point of contact after go-live. You are equal parts trainer, project manager, and account manager comfortable sitting in a distributor's agency office with the owner, the godown keeper, and the delivery staff.

What you'll do

Take the handoverPick up qualified leads from the marketing team, make first contact within a day, understand the distributor's agency setup (consumer base, staff, current tools), and agree an onboarding plan and timeline.

Onboard and configureWalk the distributor through account creation and verification, connect their HPCL portal credentials, run the first data sync, and check that consumers, sales, and stock figures match their records. Set up users and roles, opening balances, IVRS working hours, and SMS sender details.

Train the teamTrain owners and staff — in person or on call — on the modules they'll use daily: bookings and tickets, accounting entries and invoices, reports, and campaigns. Build simple guides in the local language where needed.

Go live and stabiliseRun a hypercare period after go-live: daily check-ins, fast answers,



and hands-on fixes for data or workflow issues. Log bugs and feature requests clearly for the product team and follow them to closure.

Grow the accountStay the distributor's point of contact. Drive adoption of unused modules, guide them from trial to paid subscription, handle renewal conversations, and turn happy customers into references for the marketing team.

What you'll need

- 1–4 years in customer onboarding, implementation, field sales support, or account management — SaaS or the LPG / distribution industry preferred.
- Fluent Odia and Hindi, working English. You'll explain software to people who have never used software.
- Comfort with Excel and basic accounting concepts — ledgers, invoices, GST. You don't need to be an accountant, but numbers shouldn't scare you.
- Patience and clarity as a trainer; persistence as a follow-up person. Onboarding stalls unless someone pushes it forward every day.
- Willingness to travel to distributor agencies regularly; a two-wheeler licence helps.
- Ownership: you track your accounts, keep your own status sheet, and escalate early rather than late.

Valuable to have
- Experience inside an LPG distributorship, or familiarity with HPCL / IOCL / BPCL distributor portals.
- Working knowledge of Tally or any accounting software.
- Experience with a CRM or ticketing tool.

How we'll measure success
- Time from lead handover to go-live per distributor.
- Trial-to-paid conversion of the accounts you onboard.
- Active usage of core modules 30 and 90 days after go-live.
- Retention and renewal of your accounts, and referrals generated from them.
