Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager – Purchase to manage procurement activities for HVAC projects and operations. The role involves vendor development, strategic sourcing, cost optimization, supplier relationship management, contract negotiations, and ensuring timely procurement of materials while maintaining quality and delivery standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and onboard new vendors and suppliers for HVAC, MEP, and project-related requirements.
- Drive cost-saving initiatives through strategic sourcing, negotiations, and procurement planning.
- Manage end-to-end procurement activities including RFQs, vendor evaluation, purchase orders, and contract finalization.
- Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials as per project and operational requirements.
- Monitor supplier performance based on Quality, Cost, Delivery (QCD), and responsiveness metrics.
- Provide procurement and sourcing support during pre-bid and tendering stages.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure long-term business value.
- Conduct market intelligence and benchmarking to identify cost-effective procurement opportunities.




- Coordinate with Projects, Estimation, Stores, and Finance teams for smooth procurement operations.
- Maintain procurement records and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Educational Qualification

- Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or relevant discipline.
- Additional qualification in Supply Chain Management will be preferred.

Experience

- 4–8 years of procurement experience in the HVAC, MEP, EPC, or related engineering industry.
