Key Challenges for the Role

Multitasking and Time Management – The tallest ask of this role is to ensure that multiple priorities are managed ongoing and that the role holders in the team are serviced continuously. S/He is expected help the team leaders in ensuring smooth coordination with both internal teams and external vendors and agencies.

Internal coordination – As product marketing requires the entire organization to synchronize, the incumbent must live by the values of ‘seamlessness and speed’ in his internal coordination such that BSLI can execute its product marketing plans smoothly.

KRA1 Product development (Scoping and Requirement) Understanding customer needs and consumer behaviour through research, customer feedback analysis, click stream analysis and analytics data.

Knowing each and every product guideline & ensuring the correct implementation.

Know what is currently working in the market; know your competition products, Review similar products across industry.

Innovating and delivering products that differentiate us from competition. This will include current products as well as enhancements to existing products.

Scoping / Creating the product UI, product note, use cases, test cases, MIS required etc. Scoping the product requirement to accurate details and clearly identifying dependencies / risks for the product. Highlighting the same before the development starts.

Documenting detailed product notes, BRDs, PRDs and sharing / briefing technical tea
