The Role

We are looking for a proactive, results-driven Area Sales Officer to join our growth team across key districts in Kerala. In this role, you will be the face of Sunlane—identifying potential customers, understanding their unique energy needs, conducting site visits, and guiding them through selecting and installing the right solar solution.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation & Pipeline Management: Proactively source new sales opportunities through market outreach, cold-calling, local networking, and swift follow-ups on incoming inbound inquiries.
- Consultative Selling:



Conduct deep-dive discussions with homeowners to understand their energy consumption habits and recommend tailored solar and energy management solutions.
- Deal Closure: Confidently manage the sales cycle from initial contact to contract signing and closure.
- CRM Rigor: Maintain up-to-date candidate/lead status, activity tracking, and pipeline forecasts in our CRM software.

What We Are Looking For
- Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- Experience: Proven track record in B2C or field sales (experience in solar, consumer durables, or high-value residential products is a strong plus).
- Skills: Excellent verbal communication, active listening, negotiation, and consultative selling abilities.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using CRM tools, MS Office, and Google Workspace to track leads and manage daily operations.
