Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Housekeeping Supervisor to manage housekeeping operations in our rehabilitation center. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, infection control, and overall facility presentation.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and manage housekeeping staff and daily duty allocation.
- Prepare housekeeping duty rosters and ensure adequate staff coverage.
- Monitor cleanliness of patient rooms, corridors, bathrooms, common areas, offices, and other facility areas.
- Ensure proper cleaning and disinfection as per healthcare hygiene standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintain housekeeping checklists.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and usage of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Monitor housekeeping supplies, inventory, and consumption.
- Train housekeeping staff on cleaning procedures, hygiene and safety
- Coordinate with Nursing, Administration, Maintenance, and other departments.
- Address housekeeping-related complaints and resolve issues promptly.




- Ensure proper waste segregation and disposal as per healthcare requirements.
- Maintain housekeeping records, checklists, attendance, and daily reports.
- Ensure staff follow uniform, grooming, safety, and workplace discipline standards.

Required Skills
- Good supervisory and team-management skills.
- Knowledge of housekeeping procedures and healthcare hygiene standards.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage staff and work under pressure.
- Basic knowledge of housekeeping chemicals, equipment, and inventory management.
- Solid attention to cleanliness, hygiene, and safety.

Qualifications Education: Any graduate / relevant housekeeping or hospitality qualification preferred.

Experience: 2–5 years of housekeeping supervisory experience, preferably in a hospital, rehabilitation center, hotel, or healthcare facility.
