About Our Client Our client is a globally recognized engineering organization providing advanced pumping and rotating equipment solutions to the energy, infrastructure, and industrial markets. With a strong manufacturing and engineering footprint in India, the organization supports complex domestic and international projects across conventional and nuclear power, oil & gas, and critical infrastructure applications.

Reporting to the Managing Director with functional alignment to Global Tendering Leadership, you will:

- Lead the India Tendering function with responsibility for domestic and international bidding activities.
- Manage and develop a large tendering organization of 15+ professionals.
- Own overall order intake visibility and tendering deliverables across local and export markets.
- Develop and implement bidding strategies for large, technically complex, and commercially competitive opportunities.
- Review customer enquiries, technical specifications, and application requirements for centrifugal pumps and associated equipment.
- Ensure tenders comply with commercial guidelines, pricing requirements, approval matrices, and delegation of authority.
- Partner closely with Sales to prioritize opportunities and provide timely techno-commercial support.
- Lead tender strategy covering equipment selection, costing, pricing, margins, lead times, and commercial terms.
- Evaluate complex pump applications, including requirements for energy infrastructure and nuclear power projects.
- Work closely with Engineering, Operations, Procurement, Legal, Project Management, and manufacturing teams to develop competitive proposals.
- Drive accurate costing and profitability assessment using inputs from internal manufacturing locations and third-party suppliers.
- Ensure effective pre-order to post-order handover with complete documentation and clear project requirements.




- Drive continuous improvement and standardization across tendering, costing, and project handover processes.
- Monitor market dynamics, competitor activity, customer strategies, and evolving industry requirements.
- Represent India Tendering in global and cross-regional leadership forums and collaborate extensively with international sales and tendering teams.

The Successful

Applicant - Holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering.

- Brings 15+ years of experience in tendering, proposals, applications, or techno-commercial functions within rotating equipment or energy infrastructure.
- Has strong knowledge of centrifugal pumps, mechanical seals, electric motors, steam turbines, and associated systems.
- Demonstrates good understanding of API 610 and other relevant industry standards.
- Has experience leading large and complex tendering teams and developing bidding strategies for major projects.
- Brings strong exposure to EPC customers and complex domestic and international tenders.
- Has a strong understanding of commercial terms, pricing, margins, budgets, and financial considerations within bidding.
- Demonstrates the ability to evaluate complex technical requirements and translate them into commercially competitive solutions.
- Has strong stakeholder management skills and experience working within global matrix organizations.
- Demonstrates excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, analytical, and decision-making capabilities.
