Role Overview We are looking for a high-caliber Head of Systematic Investing to build and lead the systematic investment platform. The role combines portfolio management, systematic strategy development, risk management, fund allocation, alpha generation, derivatives and hedging, along with platform and team building.

Key Responsibilities Design and execute systematic strategies, including absolute returns, long/short, quantitative, algorithmic and options-oriented market-neutral strategies. Define gross/net exposure ranges and leverage framework. Deliver consistent alpha with disciplined drawdown control.

Ensure the platform is capable of onboarding PMs with different strategies. Put a research framework in place for different strategies. Allocate fund AUM across different strategies. Identify strategy mix for funds to suit client needs.

Monitor leverage, liquidity, sector exposure and concentration limits. Establish portfolio risk dashboards and stress-testing framework. Coordinate with compliance, fund administrators, custodians and auditors.

Evaluate and hire more PMs as the platform grows. Ongoing evaluation of PM strategy performance. Act in the capacity of a PM. Implement risk systems and OMS/PMS infrastructure. Contribute to PPM drafting and investment mandate articulation.

Work with the distribution team on sharpening the pitch for clients. Support long-term AUM scale-up strategy.





Required Skills &

Experience 10–15 years of experience in Indian Equity Markets.

Strong Portfolio

Management experience. AIF and Portfolio Manager experience.

Demonstrated Alpha

Generation experience; long/short preferred.

Solid

Derivatives and Hedging expertise. Strong quantitative skills with the ability to build and evaluate strategies.

Experience in Fund Allocation. Prior PM experience.

Preferred Industry

Background HFT Hedge Funds Brokerage Firms Investment Banking Firms AIF / PMS / Hedge Fund / Proprietary Desk background.

Qualification

Preferably B.Tech / M.Tech
