About the Role

Cybrom is looking for a highly experienced technology leader to build and lead one of Central India's strongest technical learning ecosystems.

The Head of Learning & Academic Excellence will be responsible for the overall technical education strategy, faculty excellence, curriculum innovation, academic quality, and learning outcomes across all technology programs.

The ideal candidate must have a strong Computer Science or Information Technology background with hands-on industry experience in software development and team leadership. This role is not limited to academics—it requires someone who understands current industry trends, recruiter expectations, up-to-date software engineering practices, AI technologies, and how to transform students into industry-ready professionals.

Key ResponsibilitiesAcademic Leadership

- Define and execute Cybrom's technical learning strategy.
- Ensure world-class academic quality across all technical programs.
- Establish standardized teaching methodologies and academic processes.
- Develop scalable systems for academic excellence across multiple centers.

Curriculum & Technology
- Design and continuously update curriculum based on industry requirements.
- Introduce emerging technologies such as Generative AI, Agentic AI, Cloud Computing, DevOps, Cyber Security, Data Science, Full Stack Development, Mobile Development, and emerging software engineering practices.
- Ensure every course includes practical learning, live projects, coding assessments, and industry-relevant case studies.
- Build certification pathways aligned with leading technology companies.

Faculty Leadership
- Recruit, mentor, and develop high-performing technical trainers.
- Conduct technical interviews and faculty assessments.
- Implement regular Train-the-Trainer (TTT) programs.
- Review teaching quality through class observations and student feedback.
- Build a continuous learning culture within the faculty team.

Academic Quality
- Monitor syllabus completion and learning effectiveness.
- Develop academic quality standards and audit mechanisms.




- Ensure consistency in content delivery across all batches.
- Standardize assignments, coding challenges, projects, and technical assessments.
- Drive continuous improvement based on student outcomes and industry feedback.

Learning Innovation
- Integrate AI-powered learning tools and modern educational technologies.
- Strengthen the Learning Management System (LMS).
- Build digital learning resources, coding repositories, and assessment platforms.
- Introduce hackathons, coding competitions, innovation labs, and project showcases.

Industry Alignment
- Stay updated with the latest technology trends and hiring requirements.
- Collaborate with the Head of Student Success & Placements to align curriculum with employer expectations.
- Engage with technology experts and industry professionals for guest sessions, curriculum reviews, and mentorship programs.

Preferred Background
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 8–12 years of experience in software engineering, technical leadership, engineering management, technical training, or EdTech.
- Experience leading software development teams, engineering teams, or technical education teams.
- Experience designing scalable learning programs for software professionals or students.
- Prior experience in engineering management, technical architecture, or academic leadership will be an added advantage.
