We are seeking an experienced and academically strong Head of Department –

- English to lead the English Department and ensure effective curriculum implementation, academic planning, teacher development, and student achievement.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and supervise the English Department.
- Develop and implement academic plans in accordance with ICSE/ISC curriculum requirements.
- Plan and monitor lesson plans, assessments, examinations, and academic resources.
- Mentor, guide, and support English faculty members.
- Monitor teaching quality and classroom practices.
- Analyse student performance and implement appropriate improvement strategies.
- Coordinate departmental meetings and academic activities.




- Ensure timely completion of the prescribed syllabus.
- Support teachers in curriculum planning and innovative teaching methodologies.
- Coordinate with the Academic Leadership Team and school management.
- Maintain appropriate academic records and reports.
- Contribute to co-curricular and literary activities of the school.

Qualification &
- Experience

- Post Graduate Degree in English from a recognised university.
- B.Ed. is mandatory.
- Relevant teaching experience at the High School/ISC level.
- Prior HOD/Department Coordinator experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of ICSE/ISC curriculum and assessment practices.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
