Role Description The Hardware Development Engineer will work on-site in Thirunallar in a full-time capacity, contributing to the design, implementation, and testing of electronic hardware systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing hardware architectures, creating and reviewing circuit designs, selecting components, and building prototypes for new products and experimental projects. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional team members to refine requirements, troubleshoot hardware issues, perform diagnostics, and optimize performance and reliability.
The engineer will also document designs, maintain technical records,
and support the transition of prototypes into manufacturable solutions, while adhering to safety and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Strong hardware development skills, including experience with end-to-end hardware lifecycle from concept to prototype.
- Proficiency in circuit design and analysis, with the ability to create schematics and review PCB layouts.
- Solid foundation in electrical engineering principles, including power, signal integrity, and embedded systems interfaces.
- Experience with electronics hardware design, including component selection, testing, and debugging of electronic circuits.
- Familiarity with laboratory equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies) and hands-on prototyping and soldering skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work on-site in Thirunallar, collaborate effectively in a team environment, and communicate technical concepts clearly.
- Experience with PCB design tools (e.g., Altium, KiCad, Eagle) and basic understanding of manufacturing processes is beneficial.
