Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, configure, and customize Guidewire applications based on business requirements.
- Work on full-cycle Guidewire implementations, from requirement analysis through deployment and production support.
- Develop and maintain solutions using Gosu, Java, and SQL.
- Configure and customize Guidewire applications using Guidewire Studio.
- Develop and integrate Web Services, XML, and external system interfaces.
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, QA teams, and other technical stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot application issues and optimize Guidewire solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and follow development and quality standards.
- Work with CI/CD and version-control tools such as Git, Jenkins, and Bitbucket.
- Contribute to Guidewire Cloud migration, implementation, and modernization initiatives.
- Prepare technical documentation and support deployment activities.
Mandatory Skills :
- 6 - 9 years of hands-on Guidewire development experience
- Experience with at least 2 full-cycle Guidewire implementations Gosu Java SQL Guidewire Studio XML Web Services
- Solid P&C; Insurance domain knowledge
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related technical field.
- 6 - 9 years of hands-on experience in Guidewire development, with at least two full-cycle implementations.
Technical Proficiency :
- Languages : Advanced Gosu, Java, and SQL.
- Frameworks : Guidewire Studio, XML, and Web Services.
- Tools : Git, Jenkins, Bitbucket, and IntelliJ.
- Certifications : Guidewire Certified Specialist (Configuration or Integration) is often mandatory; ACE Developer certification is highly preferred.
- Domain Knowledge : Strong understanding of the Property and Casualty (P&C;) insurance domain.
- Cloud Expertise : Familiarity with Guidewire Cloud architecture and components is a significant advantage for modern roles.
