XBE

India

Why XBE?

Heavy materials, logistics, and construction are changing fast, and XBE is building the system of action for operators who don't want to wait for the market to catch up.

At XBE, marketing isn't a thin external wrapper around the product. It sits close to product, close to sales, and close to the real operational problems our customers face every day.

We're also building marketing differently. We believe a small number of exceptional people, equipped with the right systems and AI, can accomplish what traditionally required a much larger team. We're putting that idea into practice inside our own go-to-market organization. That's where you come in.

The Role

XBE is looking for a Growth Marketing Manager to join the VP of Marketing as the second member of our internal marketing team. The mandate is deceptively simple: help us create significantly more demand — and significantly increase what our marketing team is capable of doing. How you accomplish that will be much broader.

You'll help conceive and execute inbound and outbound campaigns. You'll turn ideas into content. You'll help operationalize work that happens ad hoc today. You'll use AI, automation, our CRM, and Agent XBE to create leverage. You'll support events, launches, sales enablement, our website, and whatever else becomes important as the company evolves.

This is not a role where you're inheriting a mature marketing machine and taking responsibility for one piece of it. You're helping build the machine.

You'll work closely with the VP of Marketing on strategy and priorities, but you will be expected to take an idea and run with it. Once we're aligned on the outcome, you should be comfortable figuring out how to get there.

Because this is a remote role and our working hours may not completely overlap, that autonomy matters. We aren't looking for someone who needs a task list to create momentum. We want someone who knows how to move independently, communicates clearly, asks great questions when something is unclear, and keeps work moving.

What You'll Do

Create Demand

Help build, launch, measure, and improve campaigns designed to create market interest and generate new opportunities for XBE. That includes both inbound and outbound, with a strong emphasis on account-based marketing. We're actively testing what works. You won't inherit a rigid channel playbook. You'll help us develop it.

- Turn market opportunities, product developments, sales insights, and ideas into campaigns.
- Help develop targeting, segmentation, messaging, personalization, and follow-up strategies.
- Work across inbound and outbound channels rather than specializing in only one.
- Track what's generating response, identify what isn't, and help us iterate quickly.
- Look constantly for new ways to reach the right accounts and create demand.

Create Content XBE has access to something most marketing teams don't: Agent XBE, our own AI capabilities, plus external agency support. Your job isn't to personally write, design, and produce every asset. Your job is to help turn that leverage into a consistently strong content engine.

- Help develop ideas and translate them into market-facing content across campaigns and channels.
- Use Agent XBE and other AI tools to accelerate content development and production.
- Review and refine content to ensure it sounds, looks, and feels like XBE.
- Help maintain and evolve our brand voice as the company grows.

- Manage content workflows so good ideas don't get stuck waiting to become finished work.
- Contribute directly when that's the fastest or best way to get something across the finish line.

You don't need to be a qualified designer or video editor. But strong visual instincts — and experience with tools like Canva, image generation, or basic video production — will make you more dangerous here.

Create Leverage

We don't want to solve the same marketing problem manually ten times. When something works, you'll help turn it into a system. You'll work with our CRM, Agent XBE, AI tools, automation, and lightweight development to make a small marketing team capable of dramatically more.

That could mean automating a workflow, improving how we personalize an ABM campaign, vibe coding an internal tool, creating a better content production system, improving follow-up after a campaign, or solving a problem we haven't encountered yet.

The specific tools will change. The mindset shouldn't. Repeated manual work is a system waiting to be built.

Support the Rest of the Marketing Engine

Growth won't happen in a single lane, and neither will this job. You'll also contribute across:

- Website and landing page management
- Sales enablement
- Product and feature launches
- CRM and marketing systems
- Analytics and reporting
- Content distribution
- Event planning and support
- Campaign and event follow-up
- Marketing agency coordination
- New experiments and channels

Events remain an important part of XBE's marketing motion. Depending on your location, you may not attend them physically. Your role will be making the machine around them work: messaging, promotion, registration, campaigns, materials, lead management, follow-up, coordination, and everything that helps turn an event into a growth opportunity.

What Success Looks Like

We will ultimately judge this role by two things:

1. Marketing creates more demand.

You're part of building campaigns, content, and systems that materially increase the market response XBE generates and contribute to the creation of new pipeline. You won't individually own a sales pipeline number. Creating demand is a shared effort across marketing and sales. But you should care deeply about whether the work you're doing is actually creating response.

2. Marketing becomes dramatically more capable.

We're not hiring another person because we simply want twice the capacity. We're building toward 10x. Work that happens manually becomes automated. Ideas get to market faster. Campaigns become easier to launch and iterate. Content production becomes more systematic. Follow-up gets better. Things stop falling between the cracks. Most importantly, the marketing team becomes capable of doing things that weren't possible before you arrived.

What You Bring

We're intentionally not writing a long checklist of software, certifications, industries, or years of experience. We're much more interested in what you've done and how you think. You likely have a few years of professional marketing experience and can demonstrate that you've already started building things rather than simply participating in them.

We want to see:

- Marketing content you've helped create and an ability to explain why you made the choices you did.
- Experience helping build and execute real marketing campaigns.
- A strong understanding of account-based marketing and how marketing and sales work together to create demand.
- Real fluency with AI. You don't just prompt ChatGPT; you experiment, build, automate, and find new ways to make yourself more capable.
- At minimum, experience experimenting with vibe coding or using AI to build things you couldn't traditionally build yourself.
- Strong editorial judgment and an ability to distinguish great content from content that merely fills a calendar.
- Enough visual instinct to recognize polished, on-brand work.
- Comfort learning new systems and technology quickly.
- Excellent written communication.
- High curiosity and a habit of asking thoughtful questions.
- The ability to create momentum without someone constantly checking on you.

Even Better If... You have experience with any of the following:
- Account-based or named-account campaigns
- Outbound prospecting
- Sales or cold calling
- CRM and marketing automation
- Website or CMS management
- Graphic design or Canva
- AI image generation
- Video editing or production
- Events
- Analytics
- Startups or small teams where the playbook was still being written

Industry experience isn't important to us. The ability to learn quickly is. The Kind of Person Who Thrives Here

- You are unusually curious. When you don't understand something, you ask. When you see something that doesn't make sense, you investigate. When you encounter a problem, your instinct isn't to wait for someone to assign the next step. You figure things out.
- You're equally comfortable discussing why we should run a campaign and then getting into the details required to actually launch it. You care about quality, but you don't confuse perfection with progress. You like technology and actively experiment with new ways of working. You're willing to try things that might not work, measure what happens, learn, and try again.
- You communicate exceptionally well because you understand that autonomy without alignment is just chaos. And you want responsibility earlier in your career than most companies are willing to give you.

This Role Isn't for Everyone If you're looking for a mature marketing organization with established channels, narrowly defined responsibilities, multiple layers of management, and a playbook waiting for you, this probably isn't the right role. Our expectations are high. You'll be joining a small marketing function inside a fast-moving company.

Priorities will change. You'll encounter problems you haven't solved before. There will be times when the answer isn't documented because we're figuring it out for the first time. You will have to think.

But with that comes an unusual amount of trust, autonomy, exposure, and opportunity. You'll work directly with the VP of Marketing. You'll work close to product and sales. You'll see how decisions get made. You'll experiment with AI and go-to-market systems at a level most marketers won't encounter this early in their careers. And you'll have a meaningful hand in determining what the marketing organization eventually becomes.

For the right person, this is not a job where you spend the next few years waiting for someone to give you more responsibility. It's a chance to show us what you can do with it.
