– GENERAL MANAGER – SERVICE FPL HYUNDAI

Department: After Sales – Service

Reports To: Dealer Principal / Managing Director

Location: Chennai

Job Purpose

Responsible for the overall service business, profitability, customer satisfaction and operational performance of FPL Hyundai service operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Achieve service revenue, gross profit and productivity targets.
- Manage and monitor performance of all service outlets.
- Improve workshop efficiency, technician productivity and vehicle turnaround time.
- Drive CSI/NPS, customer retention and complaint resolution.
- Ensure compliance with Hyundai OEM standards, processes and audits.
- Control service operating costs and improve profitability.
- Lead, motivate and develop Service Managers and workshop teams.
- Monitor key KPIs and take corrective actions.
- Drive service retention, repeat business and additional revenue opportunities.
- Ensure high standards of quality, safety and customer experience.





Qualification & Experience
- Degree/Diploma in Automobile / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- 12–18 years of automobile after-sales experience.
- 5+ years in a senior service leadership role.
- Experience in managing a large/multi-location dealership service operation preferred.
