Globio teaches German to Indians moving to Germany — around 10,000 students a year, most of them heading for an Ausbildung, a job, or a university seat. We are hiring one German teacher to lead academics from inside the founder's office.

This is not only a teaching job. About half the role is teaching. The other half is owning how Globio teaches — the curriculum, the student journey, and the systems that run them — alongside the founders. If you want to understand how a business actually works and not just deliver classes, this is that seat.

Responsibilities

- Teach live German cohorts, A1 through B1
- Host our live webinars — the moment students decide to join us
- Own the curriculum end to end: lesson plans, assessments, and Ausbildung-specific vocabulary modules (nursing, welding, construction, hospitality)
- Own student outcomes: attendance, progression, and how many students actually reach the level they came for
- Set the teaching standard and, as we grow, hire and coach the teachers who come after you
- Work directly with the founders on what Globio builds next

Qualifications

- C1 minimum in German, C2 preferred — with proof: Goethe-Zertifikat, telc, OSD, a German-studies degree (BA/MA),



or years living and working in the language
- 2+ years teaching German, ideally to adult learners
- Able to take a complete beginner to speaking German in the first session
- Comfortable on camera and in front of a live audience
- Comfortable with tools and systems — you do not need to code, but you should not be afraid of recent software
- Fluent English; Hindi is an advantage

Nice to have

- Taught German online at scale, or built a course from scratch
- Lived, studied or worked in Germany
- Familiar with the Ausbildung, Chancenkarte or German work-visa pathways
- Goethe-Institut, telc or OSD examiner experience

Compensation

- C1: Rs 60,000 per month + ESOPs worth Rs 60,000 per month
- C2: Rs 70,000 per month + ESOPs worth Rs 70,000 per month
- Fully remote, anywhere in India. Reporting directly to the founders.
