Role Description The Geographic Information System (GIS) Specialist at Niora Studios will support interior and spatial design projects by collecting, managing, and analyzing geospatial data. This full-time, on-site role, based in Ahmedabad, involves creating and maintaining maps and spatial datasets that inform design decisions, site analysis, and space planning.

The GIS Specialist will work with design and project teams to integrate geospatial insights into project proposals, visualizations, and presentations. Daily tasks include data validation,



spatial analysis, producing clear map outputs, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and usability. The role also involves documenting workflows, maintaining data standards, and contributing to continuous improvement of geospatial processes within the studio.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Geographic Information Systems (GIS) skills, including experience with GIS software and tools.
- Candidates should possess skills in managing Geospatial Data, including data collection, processing, and spatial analysis.
- Candidates should possess Data Management and Analytical Skills for organizing datasets, ensuring data quality, and interpreting spatial results.
- Candidates should possess the ability to create, interpret, and present Maps that support design, space planning, and site assessments.
- Relevant qualifications such as a degree in Geography, Geomatics, Urban Planning, Environmental Science, or a related field are beneficial.
- Experience collaborating with design, architecture, or interior design teams and familiarity with CAD or 3D visualization tools is an advantage.
- Robust communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in an on-site studio environment are preferred.
