Role Description The General Manager Aftersales is a full-time, on-site role based at DKH KIA MOTORS in Kozhikode. This role oversees the entire aftersales function, including service, spares, and customer care, ensuring high-quality service delivery and adherence to Kia Motors standards.

Day-to-day responsibilities include managing service operations, supervising workshop and parts teams, monitoring key performance indicators, and implementing process improvements for efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Aftersales will handle escalated customer concerns, coordinate with sales and other departments, and ensure compliance with brand guidelines and safety regulations. The role also involves budgeting,



cost control, training and mentoring staff, and supporting business growth through strong aftersales performance.

Qualifications

- Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience supervising service, workshop, or aftersales teams.
- Proven expertise in automotive aftersales operations, including service management, spare parts management, and customer care.
- Ability to analyze operational data, monitor KPIs, and implement process and quality improvements.
- Excellent customer relationship management, conflict resolution, and communication skills.
- Solid understanding of OEM (manufacturer) standards, compliance, and safety practices in the automotive sector.
- Experience in budgeting, cost control, and revenue optimization within aftersales or service departments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Automotive Technology, or a related field; relevant professional certifications are an advantage.
- Prior experience in a dealership environment, preferably with a major automotive brand; Kia experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in using dealership management systems and standard office software tools.
- Ability to work in office in Kozhikode and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
