GDA / General Duty Assistant – Home Healthcare

Patient Care Attendant / Home Care Attendant

ELIGIBILITY

- GDA / General Duty Assistant certification preferred
- Patient Care Assistant / Nursing Assistant / Healthcare Assistant certification may also be considered
- Relevant hospital, elderly-care, patient-care or home-care experience preferred
- Freshers with suitable healthcare training may also be considered
- Good communication and patient-handling skills
- Responsible, patient-friendly and compassionate attitude
- Ability to assist patients with daily activities and personal care
- Willingness to provide care and support at the patient's home
- Ability to follow instructions provided by the patient, family and healthcare professionals

HOME CARE DUTY OPTIONS Flexible home-care duty options are available:
- 4 Hours
- 8 Hours
- 12 Hours
- 24 Hours

Duty requirements may vary depending on the patient's condition, care requirements and family needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

GDA / Patient Care Attendants may be responsible for:
- Assisting patients with daily activities
- Personal hygiene and grooming assistance
- Bathing and dressing assistance
- Mobility and walking assistance
- Bed-to-chair and basic movement support
- Feeding assistance as required
- Helping maintain patient comfort and cleanliness




- Changing bed sheets and maintaining the patient's immediate care area
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Assisting elderly, recovering and dependent patients
- Observing and reporting changes in the patient's condition to the family or appropriate healthcare professional
- Supporting patients during routine daily activities
- Following care instructions provided by healthcare professionals and the patient's family
- Maintaining professional behaviour and patient privacy
- Providing respectful and compassionate care at all times

Note: GDAs / Patient Care Attendants are not expected to independently perform clinical procedures or activities that require a qualified nurse or medical professional.

SALARY AND EARNINGS

₹14,000 to ₹32,000 per month

- Availability
