Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

Must-Have**

(Ideally should not be more than 3-5)

- Certified in Google Cloud
- Deep understanding of Google Cloud Platform services such as Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, and BigQuery.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like TerraformProficiency in IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Strong knowledge of cloud security principles, networking, and identity management (IAM).
- Experience in designing and migrating applications to the cloud

Good-to-Have(Ideally should not be more than 3-5)

- Work with stakeholders to understand requirements and educate them on the value proposition of GCP.
- Work closely with development and DevOps teams to improve application architecture, integrate reliability into the software lifecycle, and manage CI/CD pipelines.
- Monitor system health using tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, and Grafana; define and track SLIs/SLOs; and optimize for availability,



latency, and performance.

Architect end-to-end solutions on GCP, including IaaS and PaaS, based on business needs

Design and govern secure, scalable, and resilient cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Lead the migration of applications and data to GCP, including re-hosting, re-platforming, and re-architecting workloads.

Collaborate with and provide guidance to development, operations, and DevOps teams throughout the project lifecycle

Develop architectural blueprints, high-level and low-level design documents, and create reference architectures.

Work with stakeholders to understand requirements and educate them on the value proposition of GCP.
