nnWe are looking for a Furniture Designer who combines creative thinking with robust technical understanding — someone who can take a concept beyond a beautiful render and turn it into a design that can be manufactured accurately.

nnYour Role

nnYou will be responsible for designing modular kitchens and wardrobes as well as a broader range of residential and customized furniture, including:

nnTV Units • Beds • Dressing Units • Study Tables • Crockery Units • Sideboards • Bookshelves • Shoe Racks • Storage Solutions & Custom Furniture

nnYou will work across the complete design cycle:

nnRequirement → Concept → 3D Design → Working Drawing → BOQ → Production → Installation

nnKey Responsibilities

nn Understand customer requirements, lifestyle, aesthetics and site conditions.

nDevelop functional, contemporary and production-feasible furniture designs.

n Create accurate 2D layouts, elevations, sections and detailed working drawings.

nProduce high-quality 3D visualizations and customer presentations.

n Prepare or coordinate BOQs, material specifications, hardware and accessories.

nVerify site measurements and dimensional details before production.

n Ensure designs align with manufacturing capabilities, materials and construction methods.

nCoordinate closely with Sales, Production and Factory teams throughout execution.

n Manage revisions efficiently while protecting design intent, functionality and project timelines.

nSupport production and installation teams with design-related technical clarification.





n Maintain disciplined project documentation, drawing revisions and design records.

nContribute to Furnika's evolving design library, standard modules and product development.

nnWhat We Expect

nn Strong hands-on experience in modular kitchens and wardrobes.

nAbility to design a wide range of residential and customized furniture.

n* Proficiency in AutoCAD.

n* Working knowledge of SketchUp or equivalent 3D design software.

n Good understanding of plywood, MDF, laminates, acrylic, veneers, finishes, hardware and furniture accessories.

nStrong understanding of furniture construction, dimensions, detailing and manufacturability.

n Ability to produce clear, accurate, production-ready drawings.

nExcellent sense of proportion, functionality, aesthetics and space utilization.

n* Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.

nnWho We’re Looking For

nnWe prefer designers with hands-on experience in modular furniture, kitchen & wardrobe manufacturing, furniture production or interior/furniture design.

nMore than a designer who can create beautiful visuals, we are looking for someone who understands how a design is built.
