About the Role

We are looking for a result-oriented US Logistics Freight Broker with 1–3 years of experience in freight brokerage, logistics sales, trucking, or international voice processes. The candidate will be responsible for generating business, coordinating with shippers and carriers, negotiating freight rates, and managing shipments from booking to delivery.

The role requires strong communication, negotiation, sales, and relationship-management skills. Similar Mohali freight-broker roles commonly emphasize US market knowledge, carrier/customer coordination, rate negotiation, load boards such as DAT/Truckstop, and shipment tracking.

Key Responsibilities

- Generate new business through cold calling, lead generation, and prospecting.
- Identify and connect with US-based shippers, carriers, and transportation partners.
- Source and book freight loads through appropriate channels and load boards.
- Negotiate competitive freight rates with shippers and carriers.
- Coordinate with carriers, drivers, dispatchers, and customers for smooth shipment movement.
- Track shipments and provide regular updates regarding pickup and delivery.
- Handle rate confirmations, load details, carrier information, and other freight documentation.
- Resolve delays, cancellations, breakdowns, and other shipment-related issues.
- Build and maintain robust long-term relationships with customers and carriers.
- Maintain accurate records of loads, rates, customer interactions,



and carrier details.
- Achieve daily/monthly sales, revenue, load, and margin targets.
- Ensure excellent customer service and timely communication throughout the shipment lifecycle.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in US Logistics, Freight Brokerage, Trucking, Freight Forwarding, or International Sales.
- Strong understanding of the US trucking and freight market.
- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
- Strong negotiation, persuasion, and closing abilities.
- Experience in international voice calling/cold calling.
- Knowledge of DAT, Truckstop, or other US freight load boards will be an advantage.
- Good knowledge of freight terminology, lanes, equipment types, and carrier operations.
- Solid follow-up and relationship-management skills.
- Comfortable working in a US night shift environment.
- Target-oriented, confident, and self-motivated personality.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office and CRM/freight management systems.

Preferred Candidate Profile The ideal candidate should be sales-driven, confident on US calls, commercially aware, and capable of negotiating profitable loads while maintaining excellent relationships with shippers and carriers.
