Role Description This is a part-time, remote Freelance Video Editor role.

The Video

Editor will be responsible for editing raw video footage into polished content for marketing materials, client testimonials, social media, and seminar recordings. Day-to-day tasks include organizing and selecting clips, applying transitions and effects, performing basic sound adjustments, and aligning visuals with brand guidelines. The role also involves collaborating with the internal team to understand project goals, incorporating feedback, and delivering final files in appropriate formats and resolutions.

The Video

Editor is expected to manage their own schedule, meet agreed deadlines, and maintain consistent quality across all video assets.

Qualifications

- Robust skills in Video Editing and Video Production, including handling raw footage and assembling compelling narratives.
- Proficiency in Video Color Grading to ensure visual consistency and enhance overall video quality.
- Experience with Motion Graphics and Graphics to create titles, lower thirds, and visual elements that support storytelling.
- Ability to use industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects).




- Good understanding of aspect ratios, codecs, export settings, and formats for social media and web platforms.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and ability to work independently in a remote, freelance setup.
- Effective communication skills to interpret briefs, share progress, and respond constructively to feedback.
- Prior experience editing educational, testimonial, or promotional videos is an advantage.
