About the Opportunity

Smartedge Consulting is looking to engage experienced Freelance / Independent IMS-QEHS Consultants for client assignments across India.

This is an independent, project-based contract engagement , not a permanent employment position.

Assignments will be offered based on client requirements, consultant competency, location and availability.

- ISO 45001 – Occupational Health & Safety
- Integrated Management Systems
- QMS / EMS / OHSMS implementation
- Gap assessments
- Internal audits
- Management system documentation
- Compliance assessments
- IMS-QEHS training

Key Responsibilities Depending on the assignment, the consultant may be responsible for:

- Conducting client gap assessments
- Supporting management system implementation
- Developing and reviewing documentation
- Conducting internal audits and assessments
- Supporting corrective action and improvement activities
- Conducting client awareness and internal auditor training
- Preparing professional assessment and audit reports
- Interacting with client representatives
- Completing agreed project deliverables within the assigned timelines

Candidate Profile We are looking for professionals with:





- Relevant experience in IMS / QEHS consulting, implementation or auditing
- Strong working knowledge of applicable ISO standards
- Valuable documentation and report-writing skills
- Professional client communication skills
- Ability to work independently on assigned projects
- Willingness to travel when required by the assignment
- Relevant skilled qualifications / auditor certifications will be an advantage

Engagement & Compensation Engagement: Independent / Freelance Contract

Assignments may be offered on a:

- Project basis
- Manday basis
- Audit assignment basis
- Training assignment basis
- Remote consulting basis

Professional fees will be mutually agreed based on consultant experience, competency, assignment scope, location and duration. There is no fixed monthly salary for this independent engagement.

No payment is required from candidates to apply or to receive an assignment.

Location

PAN India

Consultants may be considered for assignments based on client location and project requirements. Remote assignments may also be available where the project permits.
