Role Description The Financial Services Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai. This role is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of life insurance and financial products, including advising customers on suitable solutions aligned with their protection and investment needs.

Day-to-day tasks include conducting financial analysis, reviewing customer profiles, preparing proposals, and overseeing policy servicing activities to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal guidelines and regulatory requirements.

The Financial Services

Manager will collaborate with sales, operations, and underwriting teams to drive business growth, monitor performance metrics,



and support customer retention initiatives. The role also involves preparing regular reports, identifying process improvements, and maintaining high standards of professional conduct and customer experience.

Qualifications

- Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data, assess risk, and support decision-making.
- Solid knowledge of finance and financial services, ideally within insurance or banking domains.
- Foundational understanding of accounting principles to review financial statements and reconcile data.
- Experience or familiarity with auditing practices to ensure compliance with internal controls and external regulations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CFP, insurance or financial planning qualifications) are an advantage.
- Proven ability to build relationships with customers and stakeholders, with clear and professional communication skills.
- Attention to detail, solid organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfort working with spreadsheets, financial tools, and reporting systems; proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Prior experience in life insurance, financial advisory, or financial services management in an on-site setting is preferred.
