The company is looking to hire a Financial Modelling Analyst with a strong background in financial modelling, project finance, and financial analysis, preferably with experience in solar, wind, renewable energy, and power infrastructure projects. The candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining financial models, preparing financial projections, analysing project feasibility and returns, and supporting management in investment and business decisions.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Financial Modelling & Analysis:

- Develop and maintain detailed financial models for solar, wind, and other power infrastructure projects.
- Prepare project-level financial models covering revenue, CAPEX, OPEX, depreciation, working capital, financing, taxes, and cash flows.
- Calculate and analyse key financial metrics including Project IRR, Equity IRR, NPV, DSCR, payback period, and project returns.
- Prepare financial projections, budgets, forecasts, and cash-flow statements.
- Perform financial feasibility and investment analysis for current projects and business opportunities.

2. Project Finance & Investment Analysis:

- Support project finance activities including debt structuring, repayment schedules, interest calculations, and financing assumptions.
- Analyse project funding requirements and evaluate different debt and equity structures.
- Conduct sensitivity and scenario analysis to assess the impact of changes in tariffs, generation, CAPEX, OPEX, interest rates, and other key assumptions.
- Support management in evaluating project acquisition, investment, and financing opportunities.

3. Data Analysis & Reporting:





- Analyse financial and operational data and identify key trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Prepare financial presentations, management reports, investment summaries, and project evaluation reports.
- Assist in preparing business plans and financial projections for prospective projects.
- Maintain accurate financial models and ensure consistency and integrity of financial data.

4. Coordination & Due Diligence:

- Coordinate with finance, business development, project, engineering, and other internal teams to obtain relevant financial and operational information.
- Support financial due diligence and analysis of existing and prospective projects.
- Review project assumptions, contracts, financial information, and other relevant data for modelling purposes.
- Assist in identifying financial risks and cost-saving opportunities.

5. Model Management & Compliance:

- Ensure financial models are accurate, transparent, and properly documented.
- Regularly update models based on actual project performance and revised assumptions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable financial and accounting standards.
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity of financial and business information.





QUALIFICATION & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS & EXPERIENCE:

- Bachelors degree in finance, Commerce, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
- CA / CFA / MBA (Finance) / equivalent qualifications will be preferred.
- Minimum 25 years of work experience in financial modelling, project finance, investment analysis, corporate finance, or renewable energy/power infrastructure projects.
- Experience in developing financial models for solar, wind, infrastructure, or other project finance transactions will be preferred

SKILLS REQUIRED:

- Strong knowledge of financial modelling and project finance concepts.
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, financial functions, data analysis, and model building.
- Strong understanding of Project IRR, Equity IRR, NPV, DSCR, cash-flow modelling, debt schedules, and sensitivity analysis.
- Experience in preparing financial projections, budgets, forecasts, and investment analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to analyse large volumes of financial and operational data.
- Knowledge of renewable energy and power sector business models will be an advantage.
- Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
- Excellent presentation, writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of Power BI or other financial/data analytics tools will be an advantage.
