The role

Every rupee a farmer pays is split automatically between the station that did the work and the network that supported it. You own that money being right. You guard the franchise escrow, you own the settlement process and its reconciliation, you keep the company tax-compliant, and you write the financial handbook the rest of the company works to.

Key responsibilities

- Own the books, statutory compliance and tax treatment across the network

- Run franchise escrow with absolute discipline — money held is money that stays held

- Own the settlement process end to end, and the reconciliation that proves it

- Investigate and close any variance between the platform’s evening numbers and the bank

- Write and maintain the company financial handbook

- Work with the audit firm and the external accountants, and keep the files inspection-ready

- Advise the Founder on cash timing across each stage of the rollout

Eligibility





- Eight or more years in finance with controller-level ownership; a chartered accountant qualification is strongly preferred

- Multi-entity, franchise or marketplace accounting experience

- Fluent with Indian tax compliance and statutory filing

- Rigorous about controls, segregation of duties and audit trails

- Able to design a control from first principles rather than inherit one
