Mission The Field Logistic and Service Engineer ensures logistic and technical support for the customer. Is an active member of the Customer Support Team to maintain fleet availability and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Logistics Support

- Tracks & reports in the dedicated tools the support required by 4BRD to meet their annual/long term fleet / production objectives – Spares, Repairs, Training, Test Rigs/Test Bed, Tools/GSE or any other support required. Issues on request Customer Return, Service Request, and any Significant Event to be tracked.
- Logistics support for items moving out of Indian Air Force to SAE/ Returning from SAE to the base by working closely with the Indian Air Force teams in the base, Safran India Team, SAPL Logistics team/Kanpur Hub and the Back office in France.
- Impeccable documentation preparation to ensure appropriate intervention in DLM for all contracts including items returning to DLM under Warranty.
- Develops and maintains an updated record of all Indian Air Force M53 assets and supports the SAE Gwalior FTA and the PSE/Forecasting team in France as required (in preparing their short/long term outlook).

Technical Support
- Represents the OEM at Customer sites or by roving, providing advice and recommendations on operations and maintenance of OEM's Products, as first technical interface between Customer and the OEM as defined by the commercial agreements.
- Work closely with SAE FTA in Gwalior,



SAE back office in France and Safran India Team to support on Engine Test Bed and Test Rigs.
- Liaises with SAE Tech Support on Technical Queries and lead resolutions efficiently.
- Systematic maintenance of the CSC Tracker update.
- Preparation of QQOQCP document for issues involving Quality.

General
- Attend all meetings requested by the Team, in coordination with the Customer Support Manager (CSM) or Customer Support Leader (CSM/CSL). Supports Logistics of all SAE team visits to the Kanpur IAF base.
- High qualified availability: Reachable and available during Indian Air Force/SAE working hours for communication, appointment attendance and as per SAE Field Service Manager instruction, back-up for dedicated SAE Gwalior FTA absence.
- Any assignment and / or additional assignments arising out of the Company's business that the management, in its subjective judgement, feels is suited to your background, qualifications or experience.

Job Requirements

Experience level (Min) 15 Years

M53 engine experience preferred

Ex-IAF experience added advantage
