About the Role

Amartex Industries Ltd. is looking for a creative and commercially oriented Fashion Designer Suit & Dupatta with hands-on experience in stitched and unstitched suit collections and dupattas. The candidate will be responsible for developing new designs, coordinating sampling and ensuring products are aligned with current market trends, customer preferences and company requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop creative and commercially viable designs for stitched and unstitched suits and dupattas.
- Research current fashion trends, colours, prints, fabrics, patterns and silhouettes.
- Create design concepts, sketches, colour combinations and design specifications.
- Develop seasonal and occasion-based collections as per business requirements.
- Work on prints, embroidery, embellishments, motifs and surface development.
- Coordinate with merchandising, sourcing, production and vendors for sample development.
- Review samples and provide necessary corrections and modifications.
- Ensure design execution matches the approved concept and quality standards.
- Select appropriate fabrics, trims, colours and embellishments according to the product category.
- Develop coordinated suit and dupatta combinations.
- Track competitor products and market trends to identify new design opportunities.
- Support the team in developing new collections within agreed timelines and budgets.
- Maintain design files, sample records and product specifications.




- Ensure designs are commercially practical and suitable for production.

Qualification
- Degree/Diploma in Fashion Designing, Textile Designing or Apparel Designing.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in women's ethnic wear, suits, dupattas or similar product categories.

Ideal Candidate Profile
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in Suit & Dupatta designing.
- Strong understanding of both stitched and unstitched product development.
- Should have good knowledge of Indian ethnic wear and current market trends.
- Creative but commercially focused, with the ability to convert trends into saleable products.
- Candidates with experience in Retail, Apparel, Textile or Fashion Brands will be preferred.
