We’re Hiring: Fashion Designer at Dori Bazar

At Dori Bazar, we’re building more than a fashion brand. We’re building a platform that celebrates India’s rich textile heritage through craftsmanship, contemporary design, and sustainability.

We’re looking for a Fashion Designer who wants to build something meaningful.

This is not a conventional design-only role.

In the initial stage, you will be actively involved in the complete product development process, including :-

- Fashion & product design
- Pattern drafting
- Fabric cutting
- Stitching & garment construction
- Fit corrections
- Sampling and product development
- Working closely with the founder to bring ideas to life

Currently, we don’t have a separate pattern master or stitching team. That means hands-on involvement is an important part of this role in the beginning.

As Dori Bazar grows, we plan to build a dedicated production and technical team. Your role can then gradually evolve towards more focused design responsibilities.

Skills we’re looking for :-

Hands-on knowledge of pattern making, cutting and stitching is essential.

Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CLO 3D, or AI-powered fashion/design tools will be a solid advantage.

But here’s something I want to make very clear as a founder:

We don’t care which institute you graduated from.

NIFT, NID, another fashion institute, a diploma course, or being self-taught, none of that matters to us as much as what you can actually do.

What matters is your skillset, craftsmanship, curiosity,



problem-solving ability, ambition, and willingness to learn.

We also want Dori Bazar to be a workplace where opportunities are accessible to people from different backgrounds.

We particularly encourage applications from women, LGBTQ+ individuals, persons with disabilities, and people from economically weaker backgrounds.

However, these factors alone will never determine selection. Skill, attitude, commitment, and suitability for the role will always be our primary criteria.

Location & Work Setup :-

We’re currently open to a flexible/hybrid working model.

Candidates from Faridabad or nearby areas will be preferred because regular in-person collaboration will be important, especially during the initial stage.

If required, and if the candidate has suitable space at home, we are also open to exploring a home-based setup with a sewing machine, allowing greater flexibility in working hours.
