nRole Overview

nATLAS SkillTech University is seeking a dynamic and interdisciplinary faculty member to teach Environmental Studies & Sustainability alongside General Management courses. The ideal candidate will combine strong academic grounding with industry awareness, capable of connecting sustainability principles to real-world business practice and preparing students for careers in a rapidly evolving, ESG-driven economy.

nKey Responsibilities

nDesign and deliver engaging courses in Environmental Studies, Sustainability, ESG, and core General Management subjects across undergraduate and postgraduate programs.

nDevelop curriculum, learning outcomes, assessments, and course material aligned with industry needs and academic standards.

nIntegrate experiential, case-based, and project-based learning into teaching.

nMentor and advise students on academic progress, projects, and career pathways.

nContribute to research, publications, and thought leadership in sustainability and management.

nSupervise student research projects, dissertations, and capstone work.

nParticipate in curriculum review, accreditation, and quality assurance processes.

nEngage with industry partners for guest lectures, live projects, internships, and placements.





nContribute to the university's sustainability initiatives and interdisciplinary programs.

nQualifications & Experience

nPh.D. (or near completion) in Environmental Science/Studies, Sustainability, Management, or a related discipline. A Master's degree with strong industry/teaching experience may be considered.

nUGC/NET/SET qualification preferred (as applicable).

nPrior teaching experience at the university level; ability to teach across both sustainability and management domains.

nPublications in peer-reviewed journals will be an added advantage.

nIndustry experience in sustainability, CSR, ESG, or corporate management is desirable.
