The company’s infrastructure includes a tool and development center and specialized departments for CNC cutting, punching, forming, assembly, and surface treatment.

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Fabrication Fitter role based in Ahmedabad.

The Fabrication

Fitter will interpret fabrication drawings and blueprints, mark out materials, and perform fitting, alignment, and assembly of metal components and structures.

Responsibilities include using hand tools and power tools, assisting with cutting, grinding, drilling, and welding operations, and checking dimensions and tolerances to ensure quality and adherence to specifications. The role involves collaborating with welders, machine operators,



and supervisors on fabrication projects, maintaining tools and equipment, and following safety standards and company procedures on the shop floor.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in reading engineering drawings, understanding fabrication symbols, and performing accurate measurements and layout.
- Candidates should possess skills in metal fitting, alignment, tack welding support, and basic knowledge of cutting, grinding, and drilling operations.
- Candidates should possess skills in the use of hand tools and power tools, including clamps, grinders, drills, and measuring instruments such as vernier calipers and micrometers.
- Candidates should possess skills in quality checking of fabricated parts, dimensional inspection, and adherence to tolerances and safety standards.
- Candidates should possess strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and capability to follow work instructions and production schedules.
- Relevant ITI, vocational training, or diploma in fabrication, fitter, or mechanical trades is preferred, along with experience in industrial fabrication or heavy engineering environments.
- Ability to work in a team, maintain housekeeping in work areas, and adapt to up-to-date fabrication techniques and continuous process improvements is beneficial.
