Role Overview

We are looking for a results-driven Event Marketing Manager to lead our marketing and lead-generation activities and help expand SS Event & Decor’s presence in the wedding and events market.

The ideal candidate should understand how to generate qualified wedding and event enquiries, build robust industry relationships and convert marketing opportunities into measurable business leads.

This is not only a social-media role. We are looking for someone who can develop a complete marketing strategy across digital channels, partnerships, referrals, venues, vendors, wedding professionals, corporates and other relevant networks.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute marketing strategies for weddings, destination weddings, corporate and social events.

Generate qualified leads through Instagram, Facebook, Google, LinkedIn, WhatsApp and other relevant channels.

Plan and execute lead-generation campaigns and coordinate with the sales team for follow-ups and conversions.

Build partnerships with wedding venues, hotels, photographers, makeup artists, planners, anchors, caterers, corporate contacts and other event-industry professionals.





Identify new business opportunities across Pune, Kolhapur, Sangli, Satara, Mahabaleshwar, Belagavi, Hubballi, Bengaluru, Mumbai and other target markets.

Develop referral and networking channels that can consistently generate enquiries.

Manage and track leads through CRM/Google Sheets and maintain accurate lead-source data.

Monitor marketing performance, lead quality, conversion rates and campaign ROI.

Coordinate with the creative/social media team for content, campaigns, portfolios and promotional materials.

Research competitors, market trends, wedding venues and potential client segments.

Represent SS Event & Decor at relevant networking events, exhibitions, wedding showcases and business events when required.

Build a strong database of potential clients, corporate contacts, venues and industry partners.

Prepare regular marketing reports and recommend strategies to increase qualified enquiries and revenue.

Candidate Requirements

2+ years of experience in marketing, event marketing, hospitality, wedding industry, advertising or a related field preferred.

Strong understanding of lead generation and digital marketing.

Experience with Instagram, Facebook, Google, LinkedIn and WhatsApp marketing.

Good communication, networking and relationship-building skills.

Ability to identify potential clients and business opportunities independently.





Experience working with CRM, lead-tracking systems or Google Sheets is preferred.

Strong follow-up and coordination skills.

Ability to analyse marketing performance and improve campaigns based on results.

Willingness to travel for meetings, networking and events when required.

Previous experience in the wedding/event industry or an existing professional network will be a strong advantage.

Strong Advantage

Candidates who already have a proven track record of generating leads or have strong qualified connections with wedding venues, hotels, corporate clients, wedding vendors, planners or event industry professionals will be preferred.

Candidates should be able to demonstrate previous results such as leads generated, partnerships developed, campaigns handled or business enquiries converted.
