Role Description The European Counselor role is a full-time, on-site position based in Hyderabad. The counselor will guide students interested in pursuing higher education in European countries, including explaining admission requirements, application processes, visa procedures, scholarship options, and course selection.

Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting counseling sessions (in-person and via phone or online), maintaining accurate student records, coordinating with universities and internal teams, and supporting students at each stage from inquiry to enrollment. The role also involves participating in seminars and workshops,



providing up-to-date information on European education systems, and ensuring a high standard of service and ethical counseling practices. The counselor will collaborate closely with colleagues to meet recruitment targets while prioritizing student welfare and informed decision-making.

Qualifications

- 2–5 years of experience in student counseling, overseas education consulting, or academic advising, preferably with exposure to European universities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to explain complex processes clearly and build trust with students and families.
- Proficiency in student needs assessment, career guidance, and matching academic profiles with suitable European programs and institutions.
- Ability to manage multiple student cases, maintain detailed documentation, and follow structured processes and timelines.
- Comfort with using online platforms, CRM or counseling management tools, email, and video communication for student support.
- Knowledge of European education systems, visa regulations, and admission procedures (or willingness to learn quickly and stay updated).
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; degrees in Education, Counseling, Psychology, or related fields are an advantage.
- Demonstrated integrity, empathy, and a student-centric approach aligned with a non-commercial, quality-education focus.
- Readiness to work in office in Hyderabad and participate in events such as seminars, workshops, and information sessions.
